About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Receive and respond to inbound customer inquiries
  • Perform outreach to providers and members
  • Provide program support for contract members
  • Provide technical and administrative support for contracts, including internal applications and tools
  • Partner with team members and program support to meet contract-specific service level agreements
  • Answer general inquiries, troubleshoot issues, schedule or reschedule assessments, and perform administrative tasks
  • Refer complex calls to appropriate team members
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers through multiple communication methods
  • Provide general office support and perform database data entry within specified timeframes
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence to external participants according to procedures, quality standards, and contract requirements
  • Listen to concerns, analyze information, recommend solutions, and confirm customer satisfaction
  • Provide feedback, suggest improvements, and work with leadership to achieve company and employee-owner goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma and/or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer service or healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated experience working in a mentoring or leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate PC skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to triage issues and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Keyboarding speed of 50 words or more per minute
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Experience in a call center environment with high-volume inbound and outbound calls
  • Experience in healthcare or insurance
  • Experience using Outlook scheduling/calendars
  • Medical terminology or ICD/CPT coding experience
  • Bilingual skills a plus
