About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple and diverse health management service lines and/or contracts/programs
- Lead strategic planning, implementation, evaluation and ongoing management to meet contract deliverables, program requirements and performance metrics within budget
- Analyze risks to deliverables and facilitate action plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with team stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance, research issues and resolve problems
- Develop and implement continuous process improvement methods
- Facilitate national programs and projects as assigned
- Participate in sales, business development and proposal activities, including concept papers and subject-matter-expert proposal content
- Monitor budgets and financials for assigned contracts
- Coach, guide and direct team members toward individual, team and organizational objectives
- Represent the company and present at meetings and conferences
- Work with providers or clients as assigned
- Recommend operational improvements and efficiencies to management
- Support knowledge development, skill development and certifications related to quality improvement and contract deliverables
- Monitor industry trends and perform miscellaneous assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four year degree in nursing, social work, health care, business, public health or a related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment, including care management and/or health care quality improvement
- 3 years within the past 7 years of experience in HCBS/LTSS assessments
- 3–5 years managing projects and/or professional staff
- Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of strategic planning, implementation and evaluation
- Knowledge of leading change
- Knowledge of coaching, guiding and training people
- Knowledge of conflict management and difficult conversations
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial principles
- Stakeholder relationship-building and maintenance skills
- Group process facilitation skills
- Knowledge of QI processes, including Focus-Analyze-Develop-Execute and Plan-Do-Study-Act
- Ability to create graphic representations of data
- No current or future work authorization sponsorship required
