About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and project administrative support for various contracts/customers
- Prepare documentation to support the team and create, update, and monitor project plan timeliness
- Take meeting minutes and document action items
- Assist with writing and formatting project documents, technical papers, and presentations
- Coordinate project documentation from multiple sources
- Communicate with internal and external customers professionally
- Escalate issues through appropriate channels and established hierarchical protocols
- Schedule onsite and off-site meetings and conference calls
- Answer phones and monitor email inboxes
- Order supplies, copy and distribute correspondence
- Coordinate team-member schedules
- Create a master planning calendar of contract events when needed
- Coordinate setup for new hires
- Keep files up to date and accurate
- Monitor deliverables, data processing, and reporting schedules
- Report variations or discrepancies to management
- Perform miscellaneous assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two-year degree in business, healthcare, IT or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience
- 2 years’ experience in project administrative support
- Demonstrated ability working with confidential information and in a deadline driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve
- 5% local and overnight travel
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Windows and all Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work within multiple software environments
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Keyboarding equivalent 50 words or more per minute (preferred)
- Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and associated document formatting (preferred for federal contracts)
- For certain contracts, ability to effectively guide members to appropriate member benefit information (preferred)
