About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity using standardized project management processes
  • Oversee all project-related disciplines required for successful and timely project completion
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Develop, finalize, and manage project timelines, budgets, and security plans
  • Monitor project progress and manage project scope
  • Compare actual performance to plan, identify deviations, and request timeline extensions or additional funding
  • Ensure projects meet internal quality control standards and prepare quality control reports
  • Assist with hiring and training staff
  • Provide management input regarding project team member performance
  • Manage customer expectations and identify future business opportunities
  • Provide input on project management processes and assist with cost and technical proposals
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field, and/or equivalent training and/or experience
  • 5–7 years’ experience managing projects using a formal project management methodology
  • Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Must reside in Anchorage, Alaska or San Bernardino County, California
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Experience with Healthcare/Medicare/Medicaid preferred
  • Experience managing software implementation projects preferred
