About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct detailed analyses of clients’ pension plan provisions
  • Act as the liaison between the client and the project team regarding requirements for pension plan calculations
  • Configure the internal software according to the specific features of the client’s pension plan
  • Write specifications for new developments to the internal software requested by clients
  • Ensure the integration of the internal software with other software implemented for the client
  • Participate in developing the testing strategy for configurations and new developments
  • Participate in reviewing test scenarios according to the criteria required by the plan
  • Support the quality assurance team
  • Collaborate on the development of the internal software by suggesting improvements
  • Provide user support after implementation to ensure effective management of the internal software

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong technology, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage problem resolution by providing clear explanations and a path to resolution
  • Ability to set priorities and resolve issues independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of English may be required for regular interaction with English-speaking external or internal parties or use of English applications/software
  • Personnel Security Screening conducted through the Government of Canada may be required for roles involving work at a Data Center or access to detailed technology knowledge
