About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide solution-focused, short-term counselling to diverse clients facing personal and work-related challenges
Assess client needs, establish goals, and develop individualized strategies within EAP coverage
Create personalized, action-oriented plans
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Collaborate with TELUS Health’s internal EAP team
Accept or decline referrals within contractual parameters
Conduct EAP counseling services in person, by telehealth, or by video
Enter clinical notes into the database, bill, and update provider profile as required
Maintain professional conduct with clients and the TELUS Health team
Stay current with mental health best practices and engage in continuous professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clinically licensed and able to practice without supervision
3 or more years of post-graduate counseling experience
Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 per aggregate
Must comply with professional, ethical, confidentiality, TELUS Health policies, procedures, guidelines, and relevant regulations
Must notify TELUS Health of complaints, citations, or investigations that could affect license or credentials
