About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide analytical and technical support to clients, plan members, and the Administration team
- Assist with successful implementation and maintenance of pension administration systems and processes
- Understand unique pension-plan requirements and ensure system configurations align with regulatory guidelines and client needs
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and objectives
- Configure ARIEL® basic plan parameters and test calculation results as required
- Implement and configure software solutions according to client needs
- Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and functionalities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
- Document processes, configurations, and system changes
- Continuously improve implementation processes and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Additional coursework in pension administration or mathematics is a plus
- >1 year experience in software implementation, configuration, testing and support
- Experience using Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Ariel® or other business software systems is nice to have
- Experience working with Excel and Access VBA is a plus
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
- Team members whose functions require work at a Data Center or access to detailed client-service technology knowledge are subject to Personnel Security Screening conducted through the Government of Canada
- If knowledge of English is required, the role involves regular interaction in English with external or internal parties or use of English applications or software
