About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from RFP receipt and compliance assessment through final submission via email, web portal, or hard copy
Develop persuasive proposals in response to RFX and other solicitation documents
Create proposal outlines, compliance matrices, templates, boilerplate content, and core qualification materials
Write bespoke customer responses incorporating win themes
Track data calls, review submissions, assign responsibilities, and monitor drafts against deadlines
Facilitate pink, red, and gold proposal review meetings
Collaborate with SAM leads, SMEs, Legal, Finance, HR, and Marketing to gather input and develop win strategies
Conduct proposal close-out activities and lead debrief meetings
Gather client feedback and contribute lessons learned for continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field — or 3+ years of equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing
Proven track record of managing multiple proposals simultaneously
Experience collaborating with cross-functional subject matter experts and corporate stakeholders to develop technical and management content
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of document design and marketing principles
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in French is an asset
Experience with proposal management software or CRM tools is an asset
Background in healthcare, benefits, or technology sectors is an asset
Familiarity with APMP methodologies is an asset
Graphic design or data visualization skills are an asset
Experience leading formal colour review processes is an asset
