About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a comprehensive partner sales strategy for the Americas, aligned with company objectives and revenue targets
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing partner sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management
- Identify, recruit, and develop strategic partners such as system integrators, value-added resellers, and technology partners
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing partners
- Drive partner engagement and enablement through knowledge, tools, and resources
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, product, and professional services teams
- Lead complex sales cycles, present solutions, and overcome objections
- Use CRM and sales data systems to monitor partner performance, forecast sales, and identify improvements
- Prospect for new partner opportunities and manage partner pipelines
- Represent Temenos at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
- Communicate the value proposition of Temenos solutions to partners and end customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience in partner sales leadership within the financial technology or enterprise software industry, specifically within the Americas region
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth through partner channels
- Exceptional ability to build rapport and establish strong, trusted relationships with partners at all levels
- Highly skilled in closing complex sales deals, with a deep understanding of sales methodologies and negotiation techniques
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand customer needs and align solutions effectively
- Proficiency in sales data management and sales systems and tools, including CRM and Salesforce
- Strong direct selling capabilities and ability to enable and empower partners to sell independently
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively
- Understanding of buying influences and decision-making processes within target markets
- Ability to expand service offerings and identify new opportunities within existing partner relationships
- Proactive in initiating compelling sales conversations and managing buyer indifference
- Expertise in prospecting and pipeline management
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese highly desirable
