About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own acquisition of and close new business for assigned geographic territories and/or states.
  • Sell to C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees, adapting strategies by persona.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting sales teams on acquisition strategies and pipeline.
  • Prospect potential new customers and cultivate relationships via phone, email, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
  • Create and execute outreach micro-strategies and track prospect touchpoints.
  • Lead in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
  • Draft proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Create outbound email communications using CRM software and analyze results.
  • Deliver revenue growth meeting or exceeding quarterly plans and forecasts.
  • Leverage cross-functional internal resources to close business.
  • Use strategic selling and articulate product value to prospective customers.
  • Travel to meet prospective customers onsite for prospecting, networking, and selling.
  • Monitor industry trends and market shifts through associations, webinars, and events.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years’ experience selling enterprise software to construction or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
  • 7+ years’ experience facilitating all aspects of the sales cycle, focused on prospect relationships, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • 7+ years’ experience conducting targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
  • Experience selling to and speaking with C-level Executives, VPs, and Field-Based Employees.
  • Experience in quota-carrying roles delivering revenue growth meeting or exceeding quarterly plans and forecasts.
  • Experience travelling often to prospect, network, and sell, up to 70%.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or another business-related major is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations via WebEx, Zoom, etc.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills around negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
  • Understanding of prospective customers’ needs within a complex buying organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
