About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research, design, implement, and manage software programs
Test and evaluate new programs
Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop modifications
Write and implement efficient code
Determine operational practicality
Develop quality assurance procedures
Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
Maintain and upgrade existing systems
Work closely with developers, designers, business analysts, and systems analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years’ experience using Java and related languages and qualities of Java Developer I
1 year experience with Android preferred
United States work authorization is required
In-depth knowledge of Android and iOS technologies, IBM I-Series, databases, SDLC, OOPS, JavaScript, J2EE, SQL, Android Studio, Apache Tomcat, and Eclipse
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Proficiency presenting reports in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement viable, permanent solutions
