About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct pest inspections and perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients
Install and maintain termite control systems
Install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control (TAP) insulation
Prepare and clean up job sites
Assist with light construction, minor repairs, and replacements related to pest damage
Communicate with customers about services and pest control measures
Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal
Set up and build exclusion traps
Cut flashing and form hardware cloth to specifications
Remove animals trapped in exclusion devices
Work from rooftops in a safety harness when needed
Complete production forms documenting services provided
Follow safety protocols and participate in training on industry trends, technologies, and regulations
Maintain company vehicles and equipment cleanliness

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to present information in internal and external settings
Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to follow product-label instructions for mixing
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
Customer-facing experience preferred
Clean-shaven face so respirators can seal properly
Ability to move up to 50 pounds
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in the local climate
Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around animals, insects, mechanical parts, electrical current, fumes, dust, and chemicals
