About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct inspections to identify pest activity
Perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients
Install and maintain termite control systems
Install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control (TAP) insulation
Prepare and clean job sites
Assist with light construction projects, minor repairs, and replacements related to pest damage
Communicate services and pest-control guidance to customers
Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal
Set up and build exclusion traps
Follow safety protocols during service delivery
Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations
Participate in training
Work from rooftops in a safety harness as needed
Remove animals trapped in exclusion devices
Complete production forms documenting services provided
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to present information in internal and external settings
Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
Customer-facing experience preferred
Clean-shaven face to allow rebreathers to seal properly
Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
Ability to move up to 50 pounds
Ability to maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in the local climate
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain equipment cleanliness
