About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers
Conduct thorough property inspections to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points
Determine the type of pest infestation
Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while adhering to safety standards
Educate customers on pest prevention and reducing future infestation risks
Build customer relationships and schedule and confirm appointments
Assist with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
Maintain, stock, and ensure the proper working condition of pest control equipment
Comply with local, state, and federal pest control product and safety regulations
Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle
Communicate with clients about pest control solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver’s license in state of residence
Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations, covered by the employer
Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills for following product-label mixing instructions
Clean-shaven face for respirator safety
Customer-facing experience preferred
Ability to wear OSHA-compliant personal protective equipment, including a respirator
Ability to work inside and outside in the local climate
Ability to work in tight, confined spaces and around animals, insects, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
Ability to regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
