About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage sales activities and performance across the assigned region
  • Staff, direct, train, manage, and engage a team of Area Sales Managers
  • Lead the team toward maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers, Regional Directors, Sales, and Operations to align goals and deliver best-in-class customer experiences
  • Establish strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area
  • Contribute to training and educational programs for Sales Managers and frontline colleagues
  • Lead weekly performance and skills-development meetings
  • Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the assigned territory
  • Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly one-on-one debriefs
  • Ensure the team meets activity standards and sales KPIs
  • Monitor revenue objectives, APITDA realization, and sales start rates
  • Steward the Rentokil Terminix business model and company initiatives at branch level
  • Coach and develop managers and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate team training needs to Market Leadership
  • Implement, teach, and enforce company sales practices
  • Work daily in the field with sales managers and colleagues
  • Monitor sales programs and proper use and inventory of sales materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven history developing sales colleagues
  • Strong business acumen with background in management, sales, training, relationship development and/or excellent customer experience
  • Experience analyzing financial reports in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Available to travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and training
  • Preferably 3-5 years sales leadership experience in a hunting capacity
  • Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
  • Ability to move up to 20 lbs. by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects
  • Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Ability to work in damp and/or dusty locations, confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
  • Ability to go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to maintain and clean vehicles and other equipment
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA-compliant respirators
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented activities at close distances or within arm’s reach
  • Ability to tolerate seasonal weather and extreme heat/cold with or without corrective lenses
  • Flexibility for evening and weekend work, rotating on-call schedules, and extended 50-60 hour/week schedules during peak season
  • Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
