About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create long-term strategic route plans for branches within the assigned region
- Analyze plan efficiency, resource availability, and territory plan optimization
- Engage with Region Directors and Branch Leadership to ensure data accuracy and reporting
- Create effective monthly, weekly, and daily route plans using route analysis software
- Create, quality-assure, implement, and adjust route plans for all supported regional routes
- Maintain geographic codes, addresses, and customer information
- Coordinate with Planning Specialists and Schedulers to ensure tasks are performed timely and accurately
- Coordinate with branches on plan and territory updates to maximize route efficiency
- Ensure proper setup of territories and planning inputs
- Use revenue plans and targets to ensure sufficient work is scheduled for branches
- Ensure branches have sufficient work assigned to meet or exceed financial plans
- Coordinate new branch openings, moves, splits, and closures
- Plan special services such as TC Bait Conversions, new product line implementations, and pilots
- Coordinate with Planning & Scheduling leadership, regional and branch leaders, contact center colleagues, technicians, customers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, and/or government regulations
- Knowledge of the company’s branch departments, mission, territory structure, and advanced planning preferred
- Advanced knowledge of routing and scheduling software systems
- Advanced knowledge of the company’s branch service department, resources, territory structure, recurring service planning, and schedule availability for unplanned demand
- Advanced skills with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of the company’s operating systems
- Ability to manage multiple, repetitive tasks
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and the public
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Strong drive, work ethic, personal accountability, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- Highest standards of integrity and ability to build trusting relationships
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the service industry
- 2+ years of related experience as a dispatcher and/or customer service agent
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or reposition up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit for long periods while using computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions, including typing
- Spoken and written communication abilities sufficient to exchange and receive detailed information
- Close visual acuity for detail-oriented activities, data analysis, computer use, and reading
- Must comply with drug-free workplace requirements
