About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, debug and support real-time actionable mapping solutions that are highly reliable, innovative and high performance
Support real-time in-field image edge processing
Design, implement and deploy front-end elements, REST-based back-end services and database design schemas across TerraClear’s application stack
Partner with Product Management and Software Engineering team members to review application functionality requirements and interface design
Ensure applications remain current with major third-party dependency releases and current design/implementation practices
Work in an Agile environment to prioritize tasks and deliver technical milestones on schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in commercial product environment
BS or MS in Software Engineering, CS (or related field) or commensurate work experience
Knowledge of computer science fundamentals
Knowledge of how to leverage GenAI tools to expedite the design, development and debugging of commercial quality software applications
Knowledge of REST-based backend services
Knowledge of Node JS, Angular/React JS/TypeScript
Knowledge of MVC architecture
Strong communication, positive attitude and excellent team player
Willingness to travel to our field offices and testing areas
Knowledge of Linux operating system
Work experience with a relational database, preferably PostgreSQL
Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda/API Gateway/SQS
Proficiency in commercial SDLC processes, including source code management tools (GitHub)
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship or an employer-filed immigration petition at any point during employment
