About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and financial performance goals are achieved
  • Monitor project progress, anticipate risks, and implement solutions to minimize delays
  • Lead project teams by setting priorities, assigning work, and providing guidance to achieve milestones and deliverables
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, change orders, invoicing, and collections
  • Facilitate communication through client meetings, project updates, and status reports
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including the APR team, to ensure engagement at critical project phases and strengthen client relationships
  • Define project scope, schedule, and budget with the client or NAM
  • Design, communicate, and implement project plans
  • Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with approved safety plans
  • Identify and gather resources, including preparing calculations, designs, reports, work specifications, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and selecting materials, equipment, staff, and contractors
  • Partner with departments or offices to secure specialized resources
  • Conduct meetings and prepare project status reports
  • Coordinate project staff, APR oversight, accounting, invoicing, collections, risk management, and quality monitoring
  • Promote safe work environments, pre-task planning, and continuous quality improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline practiced by the Firm, including Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology, and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years’ related experience
  • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed
