About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform regional HR activities including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, employee development, communications, training, culture, and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with the People Team to ensure effective communication to Operations
  • Support regional HR compliance and strategy through policy interpretation and implementation, training, and initiatives
  • Administer regional HR programs including recruiting, performance management, employee wellbeing, and training and development
  • Foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
  • Identify staffing and recruiting needs and support hiring and regional recruiting best practices
  • Communicate HR-related concerns and escalate complex employee relations situations to corporate HR leadership
  • Process employee-related transactions and changes in the HRIS, including new hires and terminations, and process background checks
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Follow safety rules, participate in pre-task planning, and report safety issues or concerns
  • Maintain quality standards on all projects
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years’ related experience
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Business acumen or ability to quickly acquire business knowledge
  • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
