About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide directed product support, education, training and insight on the proper use of specialty medical devices
  • Proctor physicians and ancillary staff during procedures
  • Provide in-services and presentations on technologies, medical devices and procedures
  • Train internal and external customers on proper technique and use of therapeutic and diagnostic TIS products
  • Serve as company liaison with customers on clinical and technical matters
  • Communicate with marketing and sales teams regarding technical and clinical issues
  • Operate computer simulation equipment and vessel model units during trade shows, clinical meetings and sponsored courses
  • Develop and maintain clinical communications supporting appropriate product utilization
  • Resolve clinical and technical problems with sales, marketing, internal departments and customers
  • Support clinical seminars and medical society-sponsored symposia and courses
  • Visit key customers to evaluate products, maintain relationships, gather competitive knowledge and identify product concepts or enhancements
  • Ensure clinical compatibility and appropriate use of TIS products, with patient safety as a priority
  • Maintain compliance with TMC Quality Systems and forward customer complaints to Quality Assurance
  • Ensure promotional messaging and materials are clinically accurate and compliant with applicable guidelines and policies
  • Follow regulatory, clinical practice and Design Control procedures in product development and clinical activities
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical or professional health services licensure from an accredited licensing entity (i.e.: RT, RCIS, RN) or a 4 year health sciences or science related Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting (peripheral and/or cardiology related)
  • Minimum of 3 years scrubbing experience within the Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology environment
  • Strong technical and clinical knowledge in human anatomy and physiology and medical procedural techniques, preferably endovascular and/or cardiac
  • Ability to quickly gain thorough knowledge of company products and their recommended use
  • Ability to analyze product applications and misapplications to diagnose product issues
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Training ability and knowledge of current technology, company products and generally accepted medical practices
  • Ability to handle several time constrained projects simultaneously
  • Ability to present and effectively communicate complex clinical and technical data
  • Ability to apply business understanding to clinical support and customer-facing/sales force interactions
  • Ability to drive a personal automobile daily and drive long distances as necessary
  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements, including training, background checks and proof of immunization
  • Ability to work in IR suites, cath labs and operating rooms, including wearing appropriate gowning and standing for long periods
  • Knowledge of radiation exposure and protections
  • Compliance with FDA regulations, international guidelines, Terumo policies, AdvaMed guidelines, good clinical practices and Design Control
