About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up, operate, and maintain automatic and manual production equipment
  • Perform part inspections within specified frequency and process parameters
  • Set up and change over production lines for scheduled products
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain accurate production records
  • Maintain a clear and organized work area
  • Assist with job changeovers as needed
  • Maintain adequate raw material supply
  • Follow TMC Quality System requirements, including process controls, inspection procedures, document/data control, and change control practices
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on production processes
  • Participate in project performance team meetings and provide ideas for unit/company performance improvement
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a high school diploma
  • Ability to work with hand tools and perform mechanical and minor electrical duties that can be learned on the job
  • Ability to perform production set-ups, changeovers, adjustments, and simple machine repairs
  • Required to drive a forklift at certain times
  • Must have 20/20 vision or corrective vision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Considerable standing, walking, lifting, etc.
  • Ability to follow applicable national and international regulations and TMC Quality System requirements
  • Ability to work 2nd shift, 2:00p–10:30p
