About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Inspect and test raw materials and finished products
  • Audit materials and release materials as applicable by site
  • Confirm incoming-material specifications through visual and measurement tests
  • Review eDHRs and release finished goods
  • Perform pre-sterile and post-sterile product inspections according to procedure
  • Document inspection results in reports and logs
  • Communicate inspection information to other departments
  • Create and log non-conformances and assist with investigations
  • Maintain non-conforming material inventory and daily laboratory environment conditions
  • Assist with training needs within Quality and other departments
  • Provide quality-function support to other departments
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of quality assurance or manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Visual acuity in compliance with the site-specific Visual Acuity Program
  • Ability to work in a manual production or warehouse environment
  • Ability to follow gowning procedures for controlled environments
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including eye and hand protection and potentially hearing protection
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
