About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Inspect, test, and audit raw materials and finished products
  • Release finished products according to documented procedures and processes
  • Compile, verify, and review Device History Records (DHRs/EDHRs)
  • Escalate record issues to non-conformance reports as necessary
  • Perform pre-sterile and post-sterile product inspections
  • Inspect and release raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished devices
  • Review and update DHRs/EDHRs with associated paperwork and separate records into release loads
  • Process and investigate non-conformances, reworks, process deviations, and quality bulletins
  • Assist with training production or quality management associates
  • Provide assistance to production as needed
  • Perform customer complaint updates, stability testing, raw material issue support, Bioburden/LAL sample preparation, quality reporting, and environmental monitoring
  • Prioritize workload to meet production and customer needs
  • Investigate customer complaint and non-complaint disposable products
  • Initiate change orders as necessary
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years of prior quality assurance or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic computer software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform visual acuity requirements under the site-specific Visual Acuity Program
  • Ability to work in office, production, and/or warehouse environments
  • Ability to follow gowning procedures for controlled environments
  • Ability to use eye, hand, hearing, and other personal protective equipment as required
  • Ability to stand or sit for the majority of the workday
  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and pull as needed
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
