About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Sell and promote Terumo Interventional Systems and Terumo Aortic products within a defined geographic territory
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and techniques
  • Conduct sales and product presentations and educate customers on product use
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge of Terumo and competitive products
  • Attend, support, and provide in-service during endovascular procedures
  • Maintain and grow existing business and develop new business opportunities
  • Identify and respond to competitive threats and report market intelligence to the National Sales Manager
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships through visits and telephone contact
  • Conduct in-services on proper product use
  • Collaborate with Customer Administration, Logistics, Marketing, and Technical Support
  • File weekly, monthly, and competitive product reports
  • Attend trade shows and conventions
  • Maintain compliance with quality systems, FDA regulations, international guidelines, AdvaMed guidelines, and Terumo policies
  • Forward customer complaints and product performance reports to Quality Assurance
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Sciences, or related field of study is required, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Medical Device industry or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 3 years’ experience interacting with customers within the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and/or Operating Room experience preferred
  • Proven record of sales excellence or supporting sales execution
  • Bilingual in French required in Quebec Province and English in all provinces
  • Valid driver’s license and personal automobile with an active vehicle insurance policy
  • Strong presentation, analytical and customer service skills
  • Ability to understand complex medical procedures and engage in in-depth technical conversations with physicians and staff
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, specifically the vascular and venous systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and iPad navigation
  • Ability to represent Terumo and its products professionally
  • Ability to drive long distances and travel overnight as required
  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements, including training, background checks, and proof of immunization
  • Ability to wear appropriate gowning, stand for long periods, comply with hospital protocols, and work around potential biohazards
