Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals for Vale’s Pool Contract, in collaboration with other departments and subcontractors
Monitor opportunities, client requirements, and contracting processes
Review Terms of Reference, RFPs, and other contracting documents, identifying requirements and assumptions
Develop pricing, cost breakdowns, and QQPs
Support commercial negotiations and scope reviews
Keep the pipeline, CRM, and opportunity forecasts under your responsibility up to date
Build relationships with strategic clients in the mining sector in Minas Gerais
Support the identification of new partners, suppliers, and opportunities in the mining market, particularly in Minas Gerais

What you’ll need

Knowledge of the socio-environmental consulting market, particularly the mining sector
Ability to prepare and analyze technical and commercial proposals
Knowledge of pricing, cost breakdowns, and QQPs
Ability to interpret RFPs, RFQs, Terms of Reference, and contracting documents
Strong client relationship management skills
Organization and ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Availability to travel and work in Minas Gerais
Professional experience in commercial, proposal, or business development roles
Demonstrated experience in the mining sector, preferably with large companies
Proven track record of participating in the preparation and management of medium- and high-complexity technical and commercial proposals and bidding processes
Experience liaising with technical teams, Procurement, and clients during contracting and negotiation processes
Degree in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Geography, Business Administration, or related fields
