About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own TGP’s strategic and commercial proposals, pitches and major submissions from initial brief through final delivery.
- Develop proposal strategies, win strategies, key messages, differentiators and overall propositions.
- Review and interpret RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, tenders, scopes, technical requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines and risks.
- Develop bid plans, responsibility matrices, compliance matrices, internal timelines and submission schedules.
- Organise bid kick-off meetings and coordinate contributions from Business Development, SMEs, external partners and TGP departments.
- Develop and refine executive summaries, proposal narratives, methodologies, value propositions and pitch messages.
- Lead high-quality client pitch presentations and strategic proposal decks.
- Translate complex technical and commercial information into clear, persuasive client-facing content.
- Review technical content for completeness, credibility, consistency and alignment with scope.
- Monitor progress, follow up on actions and escalate delays or risks.
- Maintain version control and manage review, approval and sign-off processes.
- Ensure submissions comply with client instructions, procurement requirements, regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate pricing, budgets, resource plans, payment terms and commercial assumptions with Finance.
- Work with Legal on tender conditions, contracts, NDAs, declarations, warranties and other documentation.
- Coordinate corporate documentation, licences, certificates, policies, compliance declarations, forms and signatures.
- Manage submissions through procurement and client portals.
- Maintain records of final submissions and client correspondence.
- Critically edit and rewrite content to improve clarity, brevity, consistency and persuasive impact.
- Maintain and improve TGP’s bid content library, templates, credentials, CVs, case studies and policies.
- Conduct final technical, strategic, commercial and presentation-quality reviews before submission.
- Coordinate post-award handover information covering scope, pricing, assumptions, exclusions, programme, commitments, risks and contractual obligations.
- Request feedback after unsuccessful bids and coordinate lessons-learned reviews.
- Analyse proposal outcomes and improve bid processes, templates, governance and collaboration.
- Benchmark submissions against leading international consultancies and professional-services firms.
- Support the development of BD coordinators or administrators as the function grows.
- Success measured through compliant, accurate, strategic, differentiated, visually strong, on-time submissions; improved coordination, handovers, conversion and win rates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Approximately 7–10 years’ relevant experience in bid management, strategic proposal development, pursuits or business development.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder bids from receipt through submission and handover.
- Demonstrable experience leading complex technical and commercial submissions, not solely coordinating standard proposals.
- Strong experience interpreting RFPs, scopes of work, technical requirements and formal procurement documentation.
- Strong knowledge of bid governance, compliance matrices, submission planning and document control.
- Strong understanding of technical proposal development, including methodologies, workplans, programmes, organisational structures and resource plans.
- Strong understanding of win themes, value propositions, proposal narratives and persuasive client presentations.
- Evidence of producing high-quality proposals and pitch presentations demonstrating excellent storytelling, structure and visual quality.
- Experience within consultancy, hospitality, events, design, architecture, engineering, real estate advisory, project management or professional services would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting bids across the Middle East or international markets would be beneficial.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Arabic language capability would be an advantage.
- Strong technical bid-management capability.

- Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading ability.
- Ability to interpret complex technical scopes, methodologies and delivery requirements.
- Ability to interrogate technical content without needing to be the subject-matter expert.

- Ability to build a compelling proposal or presentation from a blank page rather than relying solely on existing templates.
- Strong Word and Excel capability.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or InDesign would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, procurement portals and bid-management tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple high-pressure deadlines.
