About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the central interface between internal engineering teams and customers for the technical implementation and further development of cloud solutions from the Google Cloud Services portfolio
Design and deliver technical deep-dive workshops for strategic customers, particularly on encryption and technical implementation
Work closely with Customer Success Management to drive active workload adoption and support customers in achieving their cloud objectives
Provide support with implementation, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving, while reducing long-term dependencies on managed services
Use, adapt, and further develop technical documentation and Google reseller guides
Actively share knowledge across the technical organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in technical pre-sales, including presenting cloud solutions, responding to tenders, and providing technical customer advice
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and infrastructure migrations, particularly landing zones
Expertise in technical sovereignty, especially data residency, operational autonomy, and relevant standards such as C5, C3A, and ISO 27001
Ability to analyze and classify customer workloads and assess requirements and risks in the context of mission-critical and business-critical workloads
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and transferring or adapting workloads from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to dedicated cloud environments
Willingness to travel within Germany regularly for workshops, team meetings, and customer visits
English-language application documents required
