About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze functional needs, system requirements, and operational constraints
- Define the technical architectures for solutions
- Design Cloud, On-Premises, and hybrid architectures
- Define compute, storage, network, and Cloud service architectures
- Select the technical services and components suited to business needs
- Define architecture patterns and standards
- Ensure architecture alignment with the principles of the information systems organization and the program
- Define transformation and migration roadmaps to the Cloud
- Define and ensure the consistency of infrastructure architectures supporting solutions for the ground segment
- Contribute to the design of innovative solutions for major space programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Engineering
- More than 10 years of experience in software engineering
- Significant experience in infrastructure, solution, or Cloud architecture, ideally in complex and demanding environments
- Strong knowledge of Cloud, hybrid, and/or multi-environment architectures, with a good understanding of at least one major public Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong command of compute, storage, networking, systems, virtualization, and distributed infrastructure environments
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, CI/CD, and DevOps/DevSecOps practices (Terraform, Ansible, Git, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Ability to translate functional and system requirements into robust, secure, high-performance, scalable, and industrialized architectures
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a Lean Engineering and/or DevSecOps culture
- Skills in cybersecurity, identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, high availability, backup, and business continuity/disaster recovery
