About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze requested enhancements and fixes in order to propose a solution, including UI prototyping and design
Develop and test the selected solution
Update existing tests where necessary
Present completed work to users
Publish the development work for peer review and feedback
Manage application configuration, including tagging and application builds
Update documentation related to enhancements and fixes
Improve and expand an internal Thales application based on QF-Test to simplify the creation of automated test specifications
Collaborate with the simulation team and technical experts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a Master's-level degree (equivalent to Bac+5) in Computer Science or a related field
Seeking a six-month internship
Proficient in Java development
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Familiarity with the JUnit testing framework
Interested in development environments and tools such as Git, JavaFX with IntelliJ IDEA, and SceneBuilder
Curious, autonomous, and thorough
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a security clearance procedure if the position involves access to information classified as a national defense secret
