About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Modernize and document Python 2.x/3.x integration scripts
- Test and fix existing scripts
- Make the scripts self-contained, without external libraries
- Integrate a modern HMI that clearly displays input parameters
- Verify the absence of regressions through functional testing
- Document the use of each script in a README file in Git
- Work within the simulation team of Thales’ Land and Air Systems business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a Master’s-level degree in engineering, specializing in computer science
- Seeking a six-month internship
- Proficient in Python programming
- Proficient in object-oriented programming
- Able to write and execute test specifications
- Knowledge of configuration management and the V-Model
- Curious, self-motivated, and rigorous
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance procedure if the position involves access to information classified as a national defense secret
