About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop project proposals for national and European public authorities, from opportunity validation through contract award or handover to the Project Manager
Consolidate the technical, financial, and contractual aspects with internal and external stakeholders
Prepare and lead the reviews (gates) associated with the bid management process
Negotiate proposals with partners and public authorities
Contribute to market intelligence and internal and external communications activities (trade shows and project proposal events)
Support the coordination and communication of funded project proposal activities within DIS and other Thales entities
Contribute to securing funding that supports the strategic priorities of the technology roadmap and the development of products and solutions across five segments

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 to 10 years of experience in business development and/or technical customer project management
Technical project management background
Ideally, experience as an R&D Project Manager
Self-motivated, curious, resilient when dealing with stressful situations and sensitive topics, and open-minded
Strong interpersonal skills and solid project management experience
Experience coordinating strategic, legal, financial, and technical aspects
Ability to work as part of a team and in a complex environment involving multiple entities, cross-functional activities, external partners, and multiple customers
Interest in research and innovation
Bilingual in English
