About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assess customer and business requirements, design and document architectural approaches
Provide technical advice for software development and serve as a technology expert for systems, compatibility, and software integration issues
Collaborate with team members, product managers, system architects, stakeholders, sales engineers, customers, and development teams to strategize, develop, trial, document, and deliver features
Understand current system architecture, standards, and future technology plans; recommend emerging software infrastructure trends
Analyze system design shortcomings, recommend risk mitigation, resolve security alerts, and preempt adverse outcomes
Ensure compliance with codes and standards and develop infrastructure improvements
Prepare white papers, technical documentation, technology analysis, and product analysis
Diagnose new and existing software products and provide quality assurance reviews
Lead and coordinate development teams to provide scalable and robust designs
Serve as a technical leader to continuously improve development team standards and capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in field with a minimum of 8-12+ years of relevant work experience or Master’s degree in field with 6+ years of relevant work experience
8+ years of experience leading software design in medium to large complexity projects
8+ years of software development experience and Agile product development and experience in leading offshore development
8+ years of Windows Kernel Driver experience
8+ years of developing code with C or C++
5+ years of experience with the Windows kernel debugger (windbg)
In depth knowledge of Windows filesystem architecture
Experience using AI LLM’s (Claude, ChatGPT etc.) to assist in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
Working knowledge of data encryption with key management, privileged user access control and policy management for on-premises, multiple clouds, big data, and container environments
Experience with development on data security products in application encryption and tokenization
Experience with DevOps Services REST API in multi-threaded, highly distributed client/server development
Ability to work within Agile-Scrum Methodology
Strong knowledge of system programming, file system and storage driver development
Strong knowledge of data security software development, DevOps tooling and cloud/container technology (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes)
Effective interpersonal, leadership, verbal and written communication skills
