About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Formalize, together with the PLM, PLA and operational advisors, the understanding of the need by drafting the OCD and MRCD
Propose the solution architecture, balancing stakeholder expectations, technical and technological solutions, costs, risks and schedule
Contribute from the evaluation mock-up phases through to the industrial product, including intermediate prototypes
Organize, where necessary, technical meetings and peer reviews for the technical evaluation and validation of the solution or elements of the solution
Draft the SSS (System Specification) for the solution with the support of the System PDA
Contribute to requirements allocation in the SSDD and to performance evaluations
Contribute to defining the critical parameters and interfaces of the main subsystems
Make technical trade-offs, with the support of the PDA, between internal and external contributors
Work with the IVVQ manager to develop the integration strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Engineering degree or university education equivalent to at least a five-year post-secondary degree (Master’s level)
At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, specification, integration and verification
Proficiency in architecture, modeling and requirements management tools (Capella, DOORS, Polarion or equivalent)
Knowledge of R&T and DDQS processes
Ability to identify technical risks and propose appropriate solutions
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to synthesize complex information
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and in a multi-company environment
Proactive approach, creativity and a strong sense of technical innovation
The successful candidate will be subject to a security clearance procedure if the position requires access to information classified as a national defense secret
