About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the study, prototyping, and/or performance evaluation of new communication architectures
  • Understand the operational needs of systems by engaging with subject-matter experts
  • Study and propose system architectures and solutions that meet identified needs, then validate them with stakeholders
  • Build prototypes using digital twin components, real equipment, and performance testing and measurement tools
  • Consolidate the results obtained and contribute to recommendations arising from the experiments
  • Join the telecom architecture team responsible for designing communication solutions and evaluating new technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree (five years of higher education) and seeking a six-month internship
  • Strong foundation in Linux environments, including installation, configuration, administration, and tuning
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications, including radio communications
  • Proficiency in networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, IPSec, OSPF, NTP, and DHCP
  • Experience using tools such as Wireshark and/or tcpdump
  • Python development skills
  • Experience with network virtualization (e.g., GNS3, EVE-NG)
  • Experience using Git and understanding of configuration management principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • English proficiency sufficient for professional communication, both spoken and written
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to clarify complex topics
  • Self-directed, with the ability to manage tasks from start to finish
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
