About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for performance management, planning, forecasting, and management reporting for the German entity
Develop and implement the business strategy together with the Managing Director
Drive long-term improvements in revenue, profitability, cash flow, and efficiency
Provide disciplinary leadership for the Finance and Controlling functions
Drive change initiatives and establish clear roles, routines, and standardized KPI evaluation
Assess opportunities, risks, investments, and business cases
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal controls
Exercise veto and approval rights over significant investments and decisions with a material impact on liquidity or the balance sheet
Work closely with regional and global Finance functions
Translate complex financial information into clear, decision-relevant actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a comparable field
Several years of leadership experience in a demanding Finance or CFO role
Proven track record in organizational development and change management
Experience providing direct advisory support to a Managing Director or executive leadership team
Strong analytical skills in planning, forecasting, business cases, and investment evaluation
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Highly structured approach to work
Strong business acumen
Ability to lead change with clarity and empathy
High integrity and a fact-based approach to work
