About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop digital shelf content strategies for brands across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other eCommerce retailers
  • Build creative frameworks aligning shopper needs, brand objectives, and retailer requirements
  • Develop carousel strategies, messaging hierarchies, content flows, and visual recommendations
  • Translate product benefits, category insights, and shopper motivations into content strategies
  • Research products, categories, competitors, and shopper behavior to identify differentiation opportunities
  • Analyze reviews, ratings, search trends, and market dynamics to understand purchase drivers and barriers
  • Evaluate competitive content and identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Turn business objectives, KPIs, and research findings into actionable creative briefs
  • Define the role, purpose, and messaging priorities for each creative asset
  • Provide recommendations on content hierarchy, claims, benefits, imagery, and storytelling
  • Establish success metrics for creative initiatives
  • Partner with account teams, designers, copywriters, photographers, and client stakeholders
  • Present strategy recommendations and communicate the rationale behind decisions
  • Collaborate with design teams to align execution with approved strategy
  • Support internal planning discussions and client presentations with data-backed recommendations
  • Review creative content against shopper needs, brand priorities, visual clarity, and performance goals
  • Analyze testing results, performance metrics, and retailer insights to identify improvements
  • Apply learnings from previous projects to refine future creative strategies
  • Champion tools, workflows, and best practices improving creative effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in creative strategy, content strategy, shopper marketing, product marketing, brand strategy, eCommerce, or related fields
  • Experience developing consumer-focused content and messaging strategies
  • Experience working with multiple brands, categories, or clients preferred
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to stakeholders preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to transform complex information into clear creative direction
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Understanding of shopper behavior and online purchase decision-making
  • Ability to build structured creative briefs that guide execution
  • Strong creative judgment with an eye for hierarchy, messaging, clarity, and brand consistency
  • Experience developing content for Amazon, Walmart, Target, or other retail marketplaces nice to have
  • Experience with PDP content, carousel design strategy, A+ Content, Brand Stores, or retail media creative nice to have
  • Familiarity with digital shelf analytics, conversion rate optimization, click-through rate analysis, and A/B testing nice to have
  • Experience working with CPG, food and beverage, beauty, baby, home, hardware, or lifestyle brands nice to have
  • Experience using AI tools to support content development, research, and workflow optimization nice to have
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work may be requested during the interview process
