About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a VP of Sales in preparing for client meetings, business reviews, retailer discussions, and new business opportunities
- Conduct background research and develop briefing materials, summaries, and presentation support
- Create meeting agendas, capture key takeaways, and coordinate follow-up activities
- Track and complete client requests, action items, and deliverables
- Research prospective brands, market opportunities, emerging categories, Target-specific trends, and emerging brands
- Build and maintain lead generation lists and prospect tracking tools
- Monitor retail, consumer, and industry trends
- Gather competitive insights and category intelligence
- Partner with a VP of Sales on strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts
- Support prospect research, outreach preparation, and opportunity tracking
- Develop materials showcasing Bluebird's capabilities and value proposition
- Maintain sales tracking tools, internal documentation, and pipeline updates
- Support reporting, data organization, performance tracking, VIQ reporting, and sales-related analysis
- Maintain accurate records and visibility across active projects and opportunities
- Coordinate information and updates across teams
- Support special projects and other initiatives as business needs evolve
- Learn Bluebird's approach to retail, client management, and business development while building foundational commercial experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, part-time work, or early-career professional experience
- Interest in sales, account management, business development, retail, or commercial strategy
- Exposure to sales, marketing, research, retail, or customer-facing environments preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfortable gathering, organizing, and analyzing information
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, research tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new industries, retailers, and business processes
- Experience with CRM platforms is a plus (training provided)
