About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Brand teams with financial information, reports, and analyses
  • Support preparation and distribution of monthly financial reporting and performance updates
  • Partner with Finance team members on budget performance and spending trends
  • Assist with month-end close, accrual reconciliations, and post-close analyses
  • Validate financial results against approved budgets
  • Prepare and maintain monthly close reporting tools and templates
  • Assist with Latest Estimate cycles and updates to the overall financial plan
  • Support forecasting and monitor performance against financial targets
  • Identify risks and opportunities within forecasts and budgets
  • Participate in finance process improvement initiatives
  • Develop more efficient reporting, tracking, and planning processes
  • Support ad hoc projects and analyses for business decision-making and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Must continue to be enrolled in school after completion of the co-op
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with financial modeling through Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis through coursework, projects, or prior experience
  • Interest in corporate finance, FP&A, and business partnering
  • Experience working with large data sets or financial reporting tools is a plus
