About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate custom and everyday point-of-sale projects submitted through MerchTank
  • Manage projects from initial intake and creative development through production, fulfillment, and final delivery
  • Review project requirements and collaborate with internal partners to clarify requests, timelines, and deliverables
  • Assist with design and development of point-of-sale materials, can designs, packaging updates, retail buildouts, and other creative assets
  • Prepare, revise, and finalize project files with brand designers
  • Support production through the in-house print room
  • Print, cut, package, and prepare materials for shipment
  • Review completed materials for quality and accuracy
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Creative teams
  • Communicate project updates, requirements, and potential issues to stakeholders
  • Track assignments, deliverables, revisions, approvals, and deadlines
  • Organize creative files, project information, and supporting assets
  • Identify workflow or production issues and assist with practical solutions
  • Balance approximately 350 to 400 projects during the six-month co-op term

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or a related field
  • Must continue to be enrolled after completion of the Co-op
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Basic understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, and design layout principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with creative and cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to participate in creative design assignments and hands-on print production and fulfillment activities
  • Curiosity, initiative, and eagerness to develop new creative, technical, and professional skills
  • Preferred: experience preparing creative files for print or digital production
  • Preferred: familiarity with graphic production, print operations, packaging design, or point-of-sale materials
  • Preferred: portfolio or examples of relevant design work
