About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support logistics and execution of in-person and digital programming for the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program
  • Develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs through coaching call support, inbox administration, and onboarding activities
  • Manage and lead the social media strategy for Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream
  • Manage the Donations Program through inbox administration, paperwork processing, community partner relationship management, and coordination of donation pick-ups at the Boston Brewery
  • Research, administer, and track participation and impact through the Benevolence Days platform
  • Participate in community impact and volunteer events with external partners and Boston Beer coworkers across brewery and office locations
  • Collaborate with People & Culture, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, and Inclusion & Belonging teams on projects and research initiatives
  • Support special projects, presentations, communications, and reporting related to Social Impact programs
  • Assist with program tracking, stakeholder communications, and impact measurement activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must continue to be enrolled in school upon completion of the co-op
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in corporate social responsibility, coworker engagement, community impact, and volunteerism
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Sound judgment with the ability to determine when to seek guidance and when to work independently
  • Coursework and/or experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Cause Marketing, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Design experience is a plus
