About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee licensed clinicians and support day-to-day clinical operations, staff performance, and program development
  • Supervise and manage a multidisciplinary care team including therapists, a substance use specialist, case manager, and senior peer specialist
  • Support integrated clinical, targeted case management, peer support, psychiatric rehabilitation, and health promotion recovery services
  • Provide targeted training, professional development, coaching, and supervision
  • Ensure evidence-based practices for youth and adults with behavioral health needs
  • Coordinate clinical treatment and supports in accordance with OMH MHOTRS licensing and CCBHC certification standards
  • Provide crisis intervention services and participate in rotating 24-hour emergency phone coverage
  • Manage a specialized caseload of clinic clients with elevated vulnerabilities
  • Serve as clinical lead for quality improvement projects addressing performance and health disparities
  • Coordinate care with co-located Alternatives to Incarceration and Pretrial programs
  • Ensure compliance with OMH, Medicaid, CCBHC, and applicable state and local regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist
  • 1+ year of management and clinical supervision experience
  • Experience working with people involved in the criminal legal system with behavioral health needs
  • Previous use of an electronic health record, preferably Qualifacts CareLogic
  • Strong organizational, leadership, professional, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred
