About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the ACT Department with the Senior Director of ACT
  • Ensure culturally and developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services and effective motivational interviewing
  • Provide clinical support, training, and professional development opportunities for Team Leaders
  • Ensure ACT teams meet performance outcomes and operational standards defined by New York State OMH, NYC DOHMH, and CASES policies
  • Oversee incident reporting and management procedures
  • Conduct program reviews and performance improvement initiatives with the Senior Director and Quality team
  • Ensure compliance with OMH guidelines, NYC DOHMH standards, and HIPAA confidentiality regulations
  • Facilitate weekly clinical supervision groups for ACT staff seeking licensure hours
  • Participate in budget, fiscal, and cross-CASES meetings
  • Collaborate on special ACT initiatives
  • Maintain current knowledge of behavioral health treatment, criminal-legal issues, and state Medicaid initiatives
  • Report workplace hazards or unsafe conditions
  • Perform other duties as required by the Senior Director and executive staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active New York license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD)
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in program operations, preferably with multidisciplinary teams
  • At least 4 years of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and criminal-legal system involvement
  • Experience overseeing multiple programs and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluency in OMH regulations and standards for ACT
  • Advanced clinical competence in evidence-based and recovery-oriented practices for high-risk, high-needs individuals in mobile behavioral health settings
  • Data-based analytic thinking and decision-making skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to tolerate ambiguity
  • Proficiency in electronic health records, preferably Foothold Technology AWARDS
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
