About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the FACT Team
  • Lead daily team meetings, regular clinical meetings, and organizational, clinical, and service planning meetings
  • Oversee clinical documentation, reporting, intakes, discharges, the after-hours emergency line, service dollars, and team schedules
  • Ensure culturally and developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services and effective motivational interviewing
  • Provide clinical supervision, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Provide direct clinical care and community services when needed
  • Ensure performance outcomes and operational standards comply with New York State OMH and New York City DOHMH standards
  • Oversee incident reporting and adherence to Incident Review Committee policies and procedures
  • Conduct utilization review and quality assurance reviews with the Quality Assurance department
  • Consult on complex, high-risk cases and team or personnel issues
  • Coordinate monthly Medicaid billing using the electronic medical record and ensure billing targets are met
  • Perform other duties as required by ACT Leadership and executive staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, RN, or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • At least three years of experience providing services to adults with serious mental illness
  • Experience working in community mental health settings that provides services to recipients in-vivo in the community
  • At least two years of experience working on a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working with and knowledge of the needs and challenges faced by individuals involved in the criminal legal system
  • Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm
