About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Empower families to develop and meet goals that support family function
  • Accompany and support families with benefits assistance, housing issues, vital documents, and related needs
  • Develop and maintain resource guides for families
  • Collaborate with ACES team members to communicate information
  • Connect parents and caregivers to appropriate resources
  • Enter data and notes at the end of each workday
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders providing services to participants and families
  • Participate in weekly in-person supervision
  • Attend weekly in-person team meetings
  • Follow the program dress code

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Deep passion for working with families and young adults impacted by the criminal legal system
  • Willingness to be in the field alongside youth workers and alone
  • Belief that participants, families, community members and team members have the ability and capacity for change
  • FDC or FPA credential OR commensurate experience, including being a primary caregiver and navigating systems
  • Strong communication skills
