About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with program director to identify outreach strategies
- Identify, build, and maintain strong collaborative relationships with program partners, including grassroots, faith-based, local community representatives, advocates, community leaders, schools, and community-based organizations to recruit participants
- Facilitate events to encourage recruitment
- Initiate and be a part of a team that cultivates strong relationships with participants
- Establish strategic approaches for quality, diverse and culturally sensitive outreach
- Collaborate with team members to ensure information is being communicated between team regarding participants
- Support case managers with program retention
- Conduct follow-up outreach to participants to ensure engagement
- Enter data entry/notes at the end of each workday
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- At least two (2) years of successful and relevant experience
- Strong communication and engagement skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to sit and stand for an extended period of time
