Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field, or working toward one, with a well-grounded understanding of tax theory
  • Prior experience preparing tax returns, specifically Form 1040 and related forms and schedules
  • Ability to manage multiple returns simultaneously and complete tasks efficiently within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact courteously and effectively with others
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive client and financial information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
  • Must be able to work approximately 30–40 hours per week from mid-January to mid-April
