About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and curate a robust, adaptable library of resources focused on student work-readiness and professional development
  • Align resources with the needs of students in Tier 1 jobs, the Success Network, an AI job coach, employers, and volunteers
  • Create structures for maintaining, updating, and evaluating resource effectiveness
  • Integrate resources into the Boost Program, Career Chat, English Chat, Student Societies, and Career Webinars
  • Oversee and continuously improve student work-readiness and professional engagement programs
  • Gather and implement employer feedback to improve job placements, training programs, and resources
  • Coordinate onboarding with mentors, missionaries, instructors, and the Success Network
  • Ensure students complete and maintain career profiles while tracking participation and outcomes
  • Identify students seeking work and direct them to suitable opportunities
  • Develop progression workflows from enrollment to work-study jobs and higher-level positions
  • Oversee the virtual career center, digital information sources, counseling services, employment groups, and Success Network coordination
  • Maintain and enhance the core work-readiness program
  • Coordinate student placement with third-party social staffers, funding sources, and Success Network partners
  • Collaborate with the product team on placement platforms and assess platform effectiveness
  • Establish job-placement and student-progression goals
  • Develop PowerBI reporting systems with Institutional Research
  • Track student job participation by employer and analyze and report enrollment and employer metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within higher education administration or public management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with the Career Advisory Board, Employer Relations Manager, Success Network, and external partners
  • Relationship-building skills, especially with employers
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as PowerBI
  • Ability to adapt to evolving program needs, industry trends, and feedback
  • Knowledge or experience in career services, education, or counseling
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital platforms and tools
  • Proficiency in managing and implementing feedback loops
  • Leadership skills to guide students through the work-readiness badging program
  • Strong networking skills
  • High cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
