About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-quality direct clinical counseling services through a professional private office setting and/or teletherapy
- Consult with ecclesiastical leaders, including Bishops, Stake Presidents, Mission Presidents, and General Authorities
- Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate programs such as Addiction Recovery
- Develop community resources and provide referrals
- Support and supervise other staff, including team members pursuing clinical licensure
- Participate in agency council meetings, regional trainings, headquarters committees, and other assigned initiatives
- Collaborate with office staff, ecclesiastical leaders, and community resources to develop and fulfill the whole service plan
- Maintain timely notes, consultations, and terminations while following data security, privacy practices, and organizational priorities
- Pursue professional development using current modalities aligned with organizational values
- Report to an Agency or Region Manager in North America
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or related degree leading to clinical licensure
- Minimum of five (5) years post-master's professional experience, including three (3) years post-independent licensure
- One year of post-independent licensure may be replaced by NOJOS and DOC Credentialing for Sensitive Cases Team
- Current independent clinical license required (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or similar clinical licensure)
- May require state licensure for multiple states depending on service area
- Advanced clinical skills and receptiveness to feedback
- Ability to provide clinical supervision to team members pursuing clinical licensure
- Professionalism and attention to quality and timely notes, consultation, and terminations
- Highly skilled in conducting group therapy
- Refined consultation skills
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
