About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the Manager of Analytics and Reporting in the Missionary Department
Provide transparency, insights, and recommendations for operational decision-making and planning
Evaluate onboarding experiences and tools used to train leaders, tutors, mentors, teachers, and training coordinators
Partner with MTC Research and Evaluation on key outcome efforts
Analyze missionary training data from PowerApps using R, Python, and SQL to determine training usage and effectiveness
Create Tableau visualizations of findings
Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information into clear takeaways and recommendations
Develop processes and reporting to measure training outputs, outcomes, and impact
Potentially use programming languages to develop technology solutions for online training
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with data processing software such as Tableau, SQL, R, PowerApps, or Python
Experience with data-driven decision making
Ability to plan time effectively while independently managing and collaborating on multiple projects and clients simultaneously
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent written, virtual, and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, innovative, and always learning
Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to meet physical requirements such as sitting for long periods and using monitors/equipment
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
Returned missionary preferred
Data science experience preferred
