About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on data coming from multiple systems
Integrate structured and unstructured data for standardized dashboards and reporting
Understand relationships among data from various sources for integration
Perform ad hoc, deep-dive analytical analysis and interpretation
Help oversee assessment of quality across many aspects of FamilySearch
Provide department leadership with reliable data from trusted source systems to support key decision-making
Access and integrate data for reporting to establish data standards, quality, and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
Minimum 2 years performing multiple system data validation, quality assessments, and configuration of reports and standardized dashboards
Understanding of basic statistical principles and probability sampling methodologies
Good communication skills – both verbal and written
Ability to present data graphically
Process adherence and quality improvement process knowledge
Ability to measure quality results against acceptance criteria and communicate performance
Ability to develop processes to evaluate effectiveness in meeting a standard
Detail oriented and willing to work with teams of volunteers and service missionaries to oversee projects in many different languages
Additional language knowledge and ability to apply translation tools is helpful
Experience using Excel and PowerBi as well as other statistical, database or programming software
Understanding data accuracy and how data quality impacts organization results
Understanding cross functionalities of data across a system or organization
Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
